Mae Escobar

Mae brings 30 years of strategic marketing, media buying and placement, public relations, hospitality, sales and special events experience to the team.

As Vice President National Marketing Manager for Bank One, N.A. (now J.P. Morgan Chase) in 2001 to 2004, she was responsible for the marketing success of all new bank branches in their 12-state footprint. During this time, Mae had accountability for design and implementation of local marketing plans that complimented and enhanced the national programs. Her role required her to actively influence and manage national brand development, marketing campaigns, sales training, public relations, media buying, and special events designed to increase profitability for shareholders. Her marketing model became the national standard.

In 2004, Mae founded aMAEzing Marketing Group (AMG) after an intensive training period with Arcos Communications in New York City (a bilingual, bicultural agency). In her capacity as Owner, Manager of AMG, Mae has led a vast number of projects for multiple clients, including the award-winning Animal Care Services, Caliente Harley Davidson, Freddy’s Frozen Custards and Steakburgers, Fifth Third Bank, and the National Council of La Raza’s annual Convention (NCLR), SA Youth, Hispanic Sports Foundation, and The San Antonio
Fiesta Commission. Current & past City of San Antonio contracts include Department of Arts and Culture, Animal Care Services, The Mayor’s Light up Downtown, Metro Health, Office of Sustainability, Pre-K 4 SA, Downtown Tuesday, an internal wellness Campaign for the Human Resources Division, OPEN Pop-Up Shops, Parks and Recreation’s Fit Pass and Downtown Operations.

For the last three years Mae has worked extensively on Diversity Studies for Bexar County, City of San Antonio, and Opportunity Home (formerly SAHA) as it relates to DEI for small businesses located in Bexar County and seven surrounding counties.

A native of San Antonio she is a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) in San Antonio where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications. Her office is in downtown San Antonio located in District Two.
