Peg began her legal career at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office where she served as an assistant district attorney. She continued as a prosecutor at the Westchester District Attorney’s Office where she was a Trial Division Bureau Chief.

In 1994, she was sworn in as a United States Administrative Law Judge and served on the bench for eleven years. Her last assignment was presiding over cases for the September 11 Victim’s Compensation Board.

Intensely motivated by her experience with the victims of September 11, Peg began training for the nursing profession. She spent the next 15 years caring for patients as a critical care nurse practitioner. She worked as a hospitalist for eight years until she retired. She is dedicated to ensuring access to health care for all.

Peg graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations. She obtained a J.D. from Fordham University and holds a B.S. in Nursing and an M.S. in Advanced Practice Nursing, both from Columbia University.

She presently serves on the Board of Directors for the Masters Leadership Program of San Antonio.

Peg was married to Joel Biblowitz for 38 years until his passing. They have three wonderful daughters, Kate, Anna, and Laura.
