Andrew M. Sasseville is the middle child of three, born to Lieutenant Colonel Albert Sasseville and Yita
Frontera Lluch. After graduating from high school in Costa Rica he was accepted to the United States Air
Force Academy in Colorado. He graduated 29 May 1991 with a Bachelors of Science and was
commissioned a second Lieutenant in the Air Force. Since then he has earned two Master’s Degrees: a
Masters of Management and a Master of Military Operational Arts.

A career Air Force Security Police Officer he performed a multitude of jobs in locations such as F.E.
Warren AFB, Wyoming; Hickam AFB, Hawaii; Los Angeles AFB, California; Maxwell AFB, Alabama;
Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio; Minot AFB, North Dakota; a tour with the North Atlantic Treaty
Organization (NATO) in Izmir, Turkey; Lackland Air AFB, Texas; and two combat tours in Saudi Arabia and
Afghanistan. He was awarded the Bronze Star medal for his service in Afghanistan performing detainee
operations. He was promoted to Colonel on 1 Dec 2012 while stationed at Lackland Air Force base
Texas.

Andrew is now retired from the Air Force and serves as the Senior Vice President, Community Services
and Accountability for the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County, Texas where he provides
oversight for the Volunteer Center, 2-1-1 Information and Referral service, MISSION UNITED, and the
Accountability Review process.

Andrew is married to Rebecca Brelsford of Port Washington, Wisconsin; they have two boys, Jake and
Zack, and now currently reside in San Antonio, Texas.
