Deb joins MLP as Program and Development Manager after a long career in private and public education.  Her experience includes elementary and middle school, in both instructional and administrative roles.  She brings a passion for communication and a dedication to excellence to her new role. She is most excited about connecting more meaningfully with the San Antonio nonprofit community. 

Deb earned her bachelor's degree in English from Duke University. She also holds a master's degree from Trinity University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver School of Law.  She served on the Board of Regents of Concordia University in Austin from 2023-2026. 

Deb moved with her family to San Antonio from Colorado in 2003, and most of her extended family also call the San Antonio area home. She and her husband share three adult children.
