Courtney Laverty

Courtney is a seasoned nonprofit leader with over 25 years of experience in fundraising, organizational strategy, and executive leadership. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Masters Leadership Program of Greater San Antonio. Her career spans national networks like United Way and CASA and grassroots organizations across a range of social causes, all unified by her passion for building strong communities through civic leadership and service.

Courtney earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) from Northern Illinois University. In 2020, she became a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), affirming her dedication to the highest standards in the profession.

Raised just outside Chicago, Courtney discovered early on the power of community service—a passion that has shaped her career and leadership philosophy. Since relocating to San Antonio in 2015 with her husband and three children, she has become an active member of the community through organizations like Impact San Antonio, the Rotary Club of San Antonio, and Leadership Women Texas.
