Anna Marie Barron is a seasoned leader and business transformation consultant with more than 40 years of experience guiding organizations through strategic change, operational improvement, and team development. She spent over 42 years at USAA, a financial services organization widely recognized for customer service and organization excellence. Throughout her career, she served in a variety of individual contributor and leadership roles across operations, human resources, strategic planning, program, project and process management, regulatory oversight, risk and compliance, and organization and people change management. Known for translating vision into execution, she built operating frameworks, governance models, and Centers of Excellence that strengthened accountability, reduced risk, and improved organizational performance.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with a concentration in Marketing from The University of Texas at San Antonio and completed graduate-level coursework toward an MBA at the University of the Incarnate Word. Her professional training includes Six Sigma, Prosci Change Management certification, IC2 Innovation Certification from The University of Texas at Austin, and Culture Shaping Certification from Senn Delaney. She serves with the Masters Leadership Program (MLP), the MLP Alumni Association Board (MLPAA), and the USAA Golden Eagles Board, and remains deeply committed to mentorship, nonprofit leadership, and community impact.
