Each year, the MLP has a six month curriculum that is shaped by current events, city growth, advancement goals, and the services that are needed by residents of the nation’s 7th largest city.
Featuring prominent regional and local experts, the 13 full days of study focus on different aspects of the community, including:

- Military Impact
- Growth & Economics
- Board Skills Training
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the educational, economic, cultural, civic and governmental fabric of our city
- Establish important networking contacts
Candidates applying to the program should be proven leaders in their field with a strong track record of accomplishment and a desire to give something back to the community.

Ask a graduate, current student or board member to nominate you for the program.
2) Submit an Application
Complete the online application highlighting your achievements and community involvement.
3) In-Person Meeting
